The meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin had “positive chemistry”, according to US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, as The Hill reports.

He tells the presidents “connected very quickly”.

Tillerson claimed that, though the meeting was supposed to last 30 minutes, it went on for more than two hours, because “there was just such a level of engagement and exchange that neither one of them wanted to stop.”

The US Secretary of State added that even Melania Trump couldn’t disturb the meeting, when she stuck her head in the door "to see if she could get us out of there.”

As we reported earlier, Trump and Putin met in Hamburg for what they claim to be their first time yesterday in Hamburg, during G20 summit.

As a result of the meeting, the presidents agreed on cease-fire in Syria. They also agreed to create US-Russia way to solve Ukrainian conflict.
