An airstrike delivered by the Russian Air Forces killed three servicemen of the Turkish Army. Anotehr eleven were wounded. The incident took place in El-Bab, Syria, as Turkey and Russia jointly performed the Operation Euphrates Shield against the ISIS. Hurriyet reported that with the reference to the HQ of the Turkish military.

The airstrike was landed on the building with the Turkish soldiers inside – by mistake, as the Russian Defense Ministry put it.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin called his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayip Erdogan and expressed condolences over the incident.
