Moscow treats NATO’s position wrong, when it comes to the Alliance’s enhancement to the east. Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, said this during his speech before the students of the Oxford University, as quoted by Interfax news agency.

‘I don’t get it when someone on Russia says NATO’s expansion in the Central and Eastern Europe is a provocation; it’s not about NATO, it’s about Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Hungary expressing their will to join the Alliance,’ he said.

Stoltenberg added neither Russia nor any other country has the right to decide the fate of the neighboring countries. ‘Russia should relax and accept the fact that the neighbors can choose their own way,’ he said.
