‘Taking into account the tense situation in the peninsula (which has been stoked by the occupants for the last several days), the State Border Guard Service highly recommends Ukrainian citizens to refrain from traveling to the occupied peninsula’, the authority’s Assistant Chief Oleg Slobodyan said.

On August 10, Russia accused Ukraine’s special forces of preparing a terrorist act in the annexed Crimea. The Ukrainian authorities – President Poroshenko, the Foreign Ministry, and the General Staff – and some other officials denied this information, posing it as a part of the Kremlin-initiated hybrid war against this country.
