The SBU, Ukraine’s security service detained a group of saboteurs who attempted to blow up the building of a National Guard unit. Vasyl Hrytsak, the head of the security service, said that at the briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
‘The SBU detained them in Mariupol on July 13; the group planned to blow up a building of the National Guard’s unit. They were detained the very moment they put the anti-personnel mine near the building. This particular mine is not produced or employed by the Ukrainian military; it is the Russian-made POM-2P1 landmine,’ the official stressed.
