Nadiya Savchenko, Ukraine’s MP and fighter pilot, claims she’s ready to pass medical tests – together with everyone who doubts her mental health. She said this in an interview with Korrespondent magazine. “I passed tests every year – I’m a military pilot, after all. I’d never be approved for work, if they found out there’s something wrong with my head. I even passed the psychiatric expertise at Serbsky’s Institute in Russia, and the experts said I’m sane’, she said.

According to Savchenko, her greatest mistake is that people misinterpret her words, while she is trying to say something different. ‘That means I failed to find proper words so as to make myself clear. In that case, no ‘bots’, no anti-Russian propaganda would be able to use my own messages against me. I’ve put myself a task to learn how to speak as clearly as possible, which would cut any risk of misinterpretation of my words.
