Russian hackers attacked the electricity distribution network in the US state of Vermont. The code associated with the hacking group "Steppe Grizzly" was identified during an attack on the electric distribution network, and this group of hackers is linked to other cyber-attacks in the US

It is reported by The Washington Post, citing sources.

It is reported that Grizzly Steppe mentioned as related to Russian hackers in the recently published report of the FBI and intelligence. The code of the group was identified during  attacks in 16 sectors of the national economy. In particular, financial, municipal and transport.

Let us remind, the US expelled 35 Russian diplomats and introduced new sanctions because of cyber attacks. Influential Senators McCain and Graeme demanded more severe sanctions against Russia.It was also stated that Russian diplomats expelled from the United States will celebrate a New Year’s holiday in the circle of relatives and friends.
