The fifth part of Georgia is still occupied and Russia continues the imperialist policy in Europe because the world did not rigidly respond to its actions in time. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine claimed this at the statement dedicated to the ninth anniversary of the armed aggression of Russia towards Georgia.
‘We are forced to state that the fifth part of Georgia is still occupied and Russia continues the imperialist policy in Europe due to the absence of the timely, rigid and consolidated reaction of the world society of the crime of Kremlin against Georgia’, MFA stated.
Also, Ukraine confirms the respect to the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia in the ninth anniversary of the armed aggression of Russia against Georgia when hundreds of people died and dozens of thousands were made homeless and Ukraine resolutely condemns the actions of Russia as country-aggressor.
‘Ukraine urges the international society to realize the profundity of danger that Russian aggressive policy carries to the global security and to strengthen the joint efforts that aim to restore the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our states that became the victims of Russian aggression’, the Foreign Ministry said.
