Eurofighter Typhoons, the fighters of the British Royal Air Forces (RAF) scrambled to intercept two Russian bombers, which came dangerously close to the British airspace on Thursday morning. Daily Mail reported that with reference to the RAF press service.

‘The Tupolev TU-160 Blackjack bombers were in the UK's 'area of interest' but did not enter British territorial airspace, the RAF said. Typhoon jets from RAF Lossiemouth in Scotland and RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire were scrambled to keep watch on the bombers in the latest sign of Russian military activity close to the UK’, reads the article.
