Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to the occupied Crimea had a demonstrative character, the Kremlin thus wanted to humiliate Ukraine before its Independence Day. Such an opinion on TV channel "112 Ukraine" expressed a political expert Vasyl Laptiychuk.

Putin: Ukraine made diversion in Crimea not to carry out Minsk Agreements

"I would not exaggerate this field meeting (Putin's visit to the annexed Crimea, - Ed.). For the army administration, military part, the Southern Federal District is not required Security Council presence, because, as for me, this event has the demonstrative sense. It's another humiliation of Ukrainian authorities before Independence Day, or perhaps they do some kind of meeting, "- he said.
