Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during yesterday's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi was interested in the situation in Ukraine, reported the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Earlier Japan opened $269 million line of credit to support Ukraine

"Vladimir Putin gave a detailed explanation, emphasizing the fact that the implementation of the Minsk agreements currently rests against the inability of the Ukrainian leadership to meet its commitments on political aspects of the Minsk agreements, and also a set of Minsk measures established on February, 12 last year, " - the report said.
