Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office requested US authorities to allow interrogation of Manafort at least 7 times

Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine wants to question Paul Manafort, national chairman of the presidential campaign of Donald Trump and lobbyist for ex-president of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych. This was reported by CNN.

According to the channel, Ukraine has requested US authorities to allow interrogation of Manafort at least 7 times over the past two years. The letters were sent to James Comey, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), officials of US Ministry of Justice. Prosecutor’s Office claims that American authorities ignored their request.

United States authorities confirmed to CNN that such requests were received but declined further comment.
