Russian pranker Vladimir Kuznetsov, known by the nickname Vovan, claims that he trotted the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, calling him on November 2 on behalf of the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev.
He published the text of the conversation on his page on Facebook, as well as the recording of the conversation on YouTube.
During the conversation, which lasted about 15 minutes, Poroshenko asked Atambayev for supporting Ukraine during the UN vote on human rights in Crimea on November 15, as well as to express a common position on the situation in the Donbas region, in particular, to help to get the transmission of the joint border area under control of Kyiv.
"Status of aggression has already been determined in the documents of the Parliamentary Assembly of Europe, the European Union and in our relations with the United States. Therefore, we strongly need to think about how we motivate the Russian Federation to give us control over the uncontrollable area of our border with Russia. And your voice will be absolutely useful for us", he said.
Poroshenko also noted that the last visit of the Ukrainian president in Kyrgyzstan was in 2003, and President of Kyrgyzstan last visited Ukraine 20 years ago.
"In connection with the recovery of our cooperation, I would like to publicly say that we are very interested in the intensification of the political dialogue at all levels," added Poroshenko.
In early November, Poroshenko's website posted a message that the President spoke on the phone with a colleague from Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, although later Bishkek denied such data, and said that the President of Ukraine could have been pranked.
"We really had a talk with Petro Poroshenko, but not on behalf of Trump, but another president, I can not say who exactly", Kuznetsov said.
