General Prosecutor's Office summoned President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko for questioning on November 29 concerning criminal case against Euro Maidan activists in January-February 2014. Ukrainian News reports this, citing the Head of the Department of Special Investigation Unit of the Prosecutor General Serhiy Gorbatyuk.
"Recently, the agenda on November 29 was sent to the President’s Administration", he said.
According to him, Poroshenko will be questioned as a witness.
Gorbatyuk did not elaborate the time of President’s interrogation.
The head of the National Security Council, Olexandr Turchynov, the current Speaker of Parliament Andriy Parubiy, the leader of the Svoboda party Oleg Tyahnybok have already been interrogated.
The ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk was also interviewed twice.
