President says he’s fine with new Prosecutor General’s decisions regarding appointments in this agency

“Let’s be cold-eyed here. You got questions for Lutsenko? Ask them. But I reckon that the situation in the Prosecutor General’s office has totally changed in just one week, which includes new appointments in the office. We never coordinated these steps, but I accept them”, Poroshenko said.   

On May 12, Yuriy Lutsenko was approved by the Parliament as Ukraine’s Prosecutor General. 264 MP supported the respective bill, with 226 necessary to pass the decision. Lutsenko himself said he was not going to stay in this office for more than 1.5 years.
