Ukraine's Presidental Administration

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law to support the domestic aircraft building industry. This was reported in the press-service of the President.

As press service specified, the law "On Amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine" and the Law "On the Development of Aircraft Industry" regarding support Aircraft Industry "is aimed at eliminating unequal conditions of delivery of domestic-made aircraft in comparison with the import of foreign aircraft. The document, in particular, provides for the abolition of preferential import conditions (without VAT) in the territory of Ukraine under contracts of operational leasing foreign aircraft empty weight of the machine equipped with more than 10 tonnes but not more than 30 tonnes and a maximum seating capacity from 44 to 110 seats.

In addition, the document also provides for the extension of the preferential import regime of goods, which are used in the design, manufacture, repair, modification, maintenance, aviation equipment product for the period until January 1, 2025 and supplements the list of such goods.
