Poroshenko and Kanerva discussed security issues in Donbas, ongoing provocations by pro-Kremlin militants and de-escalation of situation in eastern Ukraine, presidential press service reports. ‘President Poroshenko marked the important role of OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in control over implementation of Minsk agreements and peaceful process in Donbas’, reads the message.

The head of the state stressed that deploying OSCE police mission in Donbas would de-escalate tensions in the regions and help restore peace and security there.
