President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council "On the Concept of Providing the Counter-Intelligence Regime in Ukraine". This was said in the press service of the head of state.

The President instructed the government, together with the Security Service, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the State Security Administration, the Administration of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine and the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the sphere of communications and information, to approve the implementation plan within a three months.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council introduced in this decree.

The document comes into force from the date of its publication.
