President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko commented on the election of the Presidents of Bulgaria and Moldova candidates who are called pro-Russian. He said this during a press conference with Swedish Prime Minister Stephen Leven.
President, answering on a journalist's question on the election of the pro-Russian candidates, said that "these labels are unacceptable".
"They are very well-known politicians, and I am sure that their policies should be pro-European, pro-Moldova and pro-Bulgaria respectively", Poroshenko said.
He also expressed hope that "irresponsible discussions that took place during these campaigns will not be put into practice after the elections."
He noted that Ukraine is ready to cooperate, and requires above all "no money, no tips, no military support, but European unity."
Recall, the President-elect of Bulgaria is Rumen Radev, and Igor Dodon won elections in Moldova.
