President Petro Poroshenko called for visa-liberalization for Ukrainians during the official visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This was reported by presidential press service.

Poroshenko met with high Britain’s officials including the leader of the Conservative party, head of "friendship group" on liaison with Ukraine in British parliament and the head of parliamentary committee on foreign affairs.

"Head of State welcomed the Donbas visit by the committee’s delegation from the House of Commons and recommendations about the necessity of sanctions regime against Russian Federation, prepared on the results of this trip," the message reads.

Issues of Ukrainian-British cooperation in terms of NATO and realization of structural reforms program in Ukraine were also discussed during the meeting.

Particular attention was paid to enhancing contacts between two governments and studying of English language.
