Ukraine’s President to visit wounded Ukrainian troops undergoing treatment in Bulgaria

During the official visit to Bulgaria, Petro Poroshenko will hold negotiations with his counterpart Rosen Plevneliev and Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. The sides will sign a number of bilateral documents, supposed to strengthen relations and cooperation. These include the agreement on cooperation in case of emergencies, a memorandum between youth and sport ministries, and an agreement on cooperation in frameworks of common space experiment ‘Ionosat Micro’.

Poroshenko and Plevneliev will participate in the ceremony of opening a monument to Tatars Shevchenko in Sofia. The Ukrainian leader will meet the Ukrainian diaspora and visit the wounded Ukrainian servicemen who undergo treatment in Bulgaria.
