Nikolai Polozov, member of Nadiya Savchenko’s defense team, met with Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko. “We talked through many issues, specifically the amount of work that needs to be done to release other people in Russia and Crimea; the situation gets more complicated every day. The President has understanding and the action plan of what to do. Common efforts should bring the same results as they did in Savchenko’s case. The President added he’d provide protection for Ukrainian citizens who stay in occupied territories”, Polozov said.
