Polish Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz said this in an interview with the news agency IAR, said, Polskie Radio reports.
"Strengthening of the eastern NATO flank guarantees the protection of Poland from the aggressive Russian behavior ", he said.
On the eve of the NATO Summit in Warsaw, Poland's Defense Minister stressed that the deployment of NATO troops in Poland and the Baltic States will not be something like trainings.
"We are talking about the army, structure and weapons that will be enough to counter the aggressor", the head of the Defense Ministry of Poland said.
Antoni Macierewicz stressed that the Headquarters of all forces that are to strengthen the eastern flank of NATO will be located in Poland.
When asked about the logistical preparations for the adoption of the allied forces by Poland Antoni Macierewicz said that most of the arrangements have already been agreed.
He also noted that a few days ago, it was decided that the North Atlantic Alliance will directly deal with the funding of the databases and location of NATO Arm Forces in Poland.
