The Russian military ship "Yaroslav Mudry" twice in the past month carried out unsafe and unprofessional maneuvers near US warships in the Mediterranean Sea, stated the press service of the Pentagon, reports Reuters.
30 June Russian ship impermissibly close approached the American San Jacinto and then made a sharp turn. "Excessive approximation with San Jacinto and the subsequent maneuver, were in the highest degree dangerous and unprofessional, inappropriate to the International maritime legislation," the report said.

The Pentagon reminded that the previous incident occurred on June 17 when Yaroslav Mudry unsafely approached to Gravely warship at almost 288 meters.
Such incidents similar to those that took place during the Cold War, the Pentagon noted.
