The Vice President of the US Mike Pence urged the Latin American countries, particularly Chile, Peru, Mexico and Brazil to sever all diplomatic and commercial ties with DPRK as the press service of the White House reported.

Pence claimed this at the briefing in Santiago on August 16 where had a meeting with the President of Chile Michelle Bachelet.

According to the Vice President, ‘the progress is seen in the situation with DPRK but there is still a lot to be done’.

The UN Security Council imposed new sanctions against Pyongyang as the result of the systematic missile trials of North Korea. They can cost almost one billion of dollars for North Korea.
