Pechersk court rescheduled the hearing on the case of Viktor Yanukovych on high treason. It is reported by the correspondent of 112 Ukraine TV Channel from the courtroom.

"Lawyers of Viktor Yanukovych announced the request to postpone the meeting until the Kyiv Court of Appeal is considering a request for the determination of the jurisdiction of the case. The relevant application to the Court of Appeal was filed by the defense. The Pechersk court agreed and postponed the trial," said the reporter.

According to lawyers, the Pechersk court is under pressure and the GPU cannot pursue the case. The prosecutor's office also was against the application of jurisdiction, since it is determined by the registered office, and it is Pechersk district of Kyiv.

"So the case was transferred for an indefinite period and it is unknown whether there will be any progress this year. They are now all waiting for a decision, when the Court of Appeal would be willing to consider this matter," reports 112 Ukraine.
