‘We can’t impose sanctions against Russia if that means coordination with EU’s foreign policy”, Tomislav Nikolic, Serbian president, said during his meeting with the U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden.

Nikolic noted bonds between Serbia, Russia and the United States, where large Serbian community resides. He assured Biden that his country would like to join the EU; the U.S. official, in turn, stressed that Washington doesn’t expect Belgrade to choose between the West and the Russian Federation.
