More than 1000 vehicles from Ukraine wait in lines at Polish border

After the resumption of local border traffic by Poland long queues of cars on the border are reported daily

More than a thousand vehicles from Ukraine are stuck on the border with Poland in queues. This was reported by the Western Regional Office of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

It is reported that  300 vehicles are waiting in Yagodyn checkpoint, 200 at Shegyni and Uhryniv, Rava-Russka - 150, Ustilug - 130, Hrushev and Krakovets are holding 70 cars each.

As we reported earlier, Poland resumed small border traffic with Ukraine on August 3, which was suspended for safety reasons before the NATO summit and the World youth days on July 4. Since then, the big car queues at checkpoints are reported daily. On August 4, the State Border Service of Ukraine expressed hope that the rush at crossing points with Poland will decrease in the next few days.
