Dodon announced about the development of new strategic partnership between Moldova and Russian Federation

President of Moldova Igor Dodon announced during the press conference that a new agreement on strategic partnership between Moldova and Russia will be worked out, reports TASS.

The main purpose of the agreement will be the restoration of relationship between the countries damaged during the past few years, according to him.

“I initiated the development of a new agreement on strategic partnership with Russia. We discussed this questions at recent meetings with Vladimir Putin in Moscow and Grigory Karasin (Deputy Foreign Minister of Russian Federation),” Dodon said.

Earlier it was reported that Moldova might cancel Association Agreement with EU, according to Dodon..
Signing of the document gave this country nothing; instead, export volumes to EU member countries dropped, Moldovan president said.
