Moldova will remain committed to European integration and will continue to establish good neighborly relations with Russia. This was stated by the head of the Foreign Ministry Andrei Galbur at a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian in Yerevan, reports Interfax.

"From my point of view, there are no any special changes in the foreign policy of Moldova. It is no secret that our priority is the European integration of the country", Moldovan Minister said.

"The current government combines this priority with a priority of establishing pragmatic partnership with Russia," he added.

According to Galbur, European integration vector in any way "is not in conflict with the process of building good relations with our partners in Moscow."

"This approach will be valid during the mandate of the newly elected president too", he said.
