Chairman of the US Senate Committee on Armed Services John McCain plans to conduct hearings on Russian cyber attacks on January 5. It was reported by Politico edition, citing a source familiar with the planning of the committee.

US Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, head of the US Cyber Command, Mike Rogers, the deputy head of the Pentagon on intelligence Marcel Lettre are to speak at the hearing of the committee.

The publication notes that the hearing will take place only three days after the beginning of work of the newly elected Congress.

As it was reported earlier, President of Ukraine met with US senators. Senator John McCain headed the US delegation, it was also composed of Senators Lindsey Graham and Amy Klobuchar.
