Kyiv breaks twinning relationship with Moscow

Kyiv City Council has sent a letter to the Government of the Russian Federation, informing the Kremlin about unilateral breaking of all previously signed twinning, partnership and cooperational agreements with Moscow. The corresponding document was published on Facebook by the deputy head of the Kyiv City - City Council secretary Volodymir Prokopiv.

As stated in the text of the document, the decision was made due to "military aggression of Russia against Ukraine, Crimea annexation and occupation of the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions
