The Russian presidential administration ordered the state-run media to stop ‘flattering’ U.S. leader Donald Trump and his policy; Bloomberg reported this with reference to three unnamed sources in the influential circles in Russian government.

There are concerns that the Kremlin could face less favorable attitude of the U.S. than the top ranking officials could have expected.

The order by the Russian presidential administration showed up as the anti-Russian vibes gain power in Washington, and the U.S. special services are trying to find out as much as possible about the U.S.-Russia contacts during the presidential race in the States. However, Putin’s press service said it is due to the fact that Russians are not really interested in more details of the U.S. politics, the source said.

‘The media will not be badmouthing Trump, they’ll merely stop talking about him so much. The fate of the U.S.-Russia relations proved to be less predictable than one could expect several weeks ago,’ Konstantin Eggert, Russia political expert said.
