Pavlo Klimkin, Ukraine’s foreign minister gave interview to 112 Ukraine TV channel, commenting on the upcoming meeting of the Normandy Four in Berlin.

‘The tomorrow’s event has to become a test. That’s what the sides agreed on. The idea, largely, belongs to German chancellor Angela Merkel. Her French counterpart supported the initiative, and so did we. We’ll be able to understand if we can put more pressure on Russia in terms of complying with Minsk agreements. It’s essential on the eve of the session of the Council of Europe where they would discuss relations with Russia. We’re working on the road map where there is clear logic in terms of security and humanitarian policy – release of political prisoners, above all. And that should be confirmed by adherence to political agreements. We continue to work, but we’ve got to realize that there are no strong hopes for any breakthroughs at the tomorrow’s event’, Klimkin said.
