The state’s main task is to keep the high level of international support of Ukraine and to see that sanctions against Russia remain in place, Pavlo Klimkin said. The conference, broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel, was held in Kyiv on August 22.
‘There’s a key challenge that Ukraine has been facing for the last two and a half years. That’s Russian aggression. It’s up to us now whether we can keep the EU solidarity, the solidarity of the G7 countries and that of the entire civilized world. We’ve got to make it clear to everyone that Ukraine actually is on the frontline, fighting against Russian hybrid aggression. We’ve got to keep sanctions as the way to put pressure on Russia. I reckon this is our main task,’ Klimkin said.
