Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that the arbitration has already been formed to review the case on violation of the law of the sea by Russia. He wrote this on Twitter.

Klimkin said that justice took another step closer.

As previously reported in the Foreign Ministry, Ukrainian laws have been violated and usurped by the state-aggressor with the beginning of illegal aggression of the Russian Federation in Crimea. Ukraine seeks to achieve suspension of the Russian Federation of violations, as well as protection of their rights in the Black Sea, the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait, including the law of Ukraine on the natural resources of the continental shelf of the Crimea, which belongs to the Ukrainian people.

Ukraine asks the tribunal to confirm its rights as a coastal state, and to oblige the Russian Federation to cease the internationally wrongful acts in the relevant sea areas, to provide appropriate assurances and guarantees of non-repetition and to compensate all damages inflicted by the Russian Federation.
