Henry Kissinger, the famous American diplomat and the former U.S. Secretary of State is working on the plan for president-elect Donald Trump to normalize the U.S.-Russia relations. Bild reported that with a reference to European intelligence services.
According to Bild, Kissinger prefers rapprochement with Russia, which would be the right step in the light of the increasing military power of China – the possible opponent of the U.S.
The diplomat believes that the balance in relations of Russia and the United States will be instrumental in strengthening the global stability. According to the European secret services, Trump intends to lift the U.S. sanctions against Russia under Kissinger’s recommendations.
Kissinger also offers Trump to recognize Russia’s superiority over the space of the former Soviet republics – from Belarus and Ukraine to Kazakhstan. The German outlet wrote that it would actually mean Russia’s control over the larger area, - from Poland and the Baltic States till Iran, Afghanistan and China.
The Bild writes that the issue of Ukraine’s political and economic development should be regulated as well; ‘Russia must guarantee security in Eastern Ukraine, and the West does not interfere in the Crimean issue. However, Crimea’s occupation will not be recognized officially,’ reads the article.
