The White House will extend sanctions against the Kremlin if the Russian side fails to fulfill its commitments concerning de-escalation of situation in Donbas. John Kerry, U.S. Secretary of State, said this at a joint briefing with Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv on Thursday.

‘If Russia doesn’t fulfill its commitments, the sanctions will stay in place’, the official said, adding that the Crimea-related restrictions against Russia will remain, too, until the issue is fully settled.
