Kerry: the U.S. have “certain ideas” how to solve conflict in Ukraine

The White House has certain ideas on how to facilitate peaceful solution of the conflict in eastern Ukraine. John Kerry said this during his meeting with the Russian leader in Moscow on Thursday evening. Before the negotiations, the U.S. diplomat voiced hope that Washington and Moscow could narrow their differences on Syria and Ukraine.

Earlier today, during his official visit to Moscow, Kerry met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. They discussed ways to peaceful solution of armed conflicts in Syria and eastern Ukraine. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that the officials also discussed the release of Ukraine’s fighter pilot, MP Nadiya Savchenko.
