Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman visited the Western Wall in terms of official visit to Israel, where he wished for "tranquillity and peace for Ukraine and well-being and prosperity for Ukrainian people, he also thanked God for supporting Ukraine in time of difficulties". This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Head of government also examined archeological excavations near the Wall and descended into the underground.

Beyond that, Prime Minister called on Israeli business to invest in Ukraine.

Volodymyr Groysman’s visit is to last until May 16. Prime Minister has already met with Israeli president, and also honored memory of victims of Holocaust in Jerusalem. Bilateral  documents on cooperation in spheres of medicine, customs and emergency prevention were signed. 

"Today's visit and our meeting, I have every confidence, will have very positive impact on the work between our governments, while the agreements that we’ll sign will also contribute to the development of our bilateral cooperation, development of the economies of the two countries, deepening partnership in various sectors, including the need to pay due attention to the development of tourism", said Volodymyr Groysman during a joint with Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu briefing prior to signing of bilateral documents.
