Ukraine and Israel will speed up the talks about signing the Agreement about the free-trade area. Volodymyr Groysman the Prime Minister of Ukraine and Benjamin Netanyahu the Prime Minister of Israel claimed this during the cooperative intercommunication with the journalists as the press service of the Government of Ukraine reports.
Groysman mentioned the positive trends of the increase of trade between the countries. There are the stepping up of the Joint Intergovernmental Committee regarding trade and economic cooperation and remarkable progress in the negotiations process upon the project the Agreement about the free-trade area that both countries succeed to achieve this year.
He also summoned the Israeli side to give consideration to the possibility of the access liberalization of the Ukrainian agricultural products to the Israeli market. Particularly, such as grain, dairy products, fish, meat, honey, butter, vegetables and industrial products.
Benjamin Netanyahu noticed in turn that Israel is interested in the speed up of the negotiations of the creation of the free-trade area with Ukraine. ‘We want to quicken the talks about the creation of the free-trade area with Ukraine. We want to develop the commerce, trade, tourism and economic exchange between our countries’, he said.
Petro Poroshenko the President of Ukraine during the phone call to Israeli Premier Minister noticed that the negotiations of the creation of the free-trade area between Ukraine and Israel should finish till the end of 2017.
Volodymyr Groysman will be in Israel until May 16. The Premier Minister of Ukraine met the President of Israel and honored the memory of the victims of the Holocaust. Also, he signed the bilateral documents about the cooperation in the medical, custom spheres and in the disaster management sphere.
