The General Prosecutor's Office Ukraine summoned the ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych for questioning on December 5 and 9. Relevant agenda posted on the official website.

"Viktor Yanukovych, We ask you to arrive to the Head of the investigative department of the Main Military Prosecutor's Office of the General Prosecutor of Ukraine Leshchenko to take part in the interrogation and perform other procedural actions in criminal proceedings on the case #42016000000001594 as a suspect", reads the first subpoena.

The document was sent to the three addresses of Yanukovych's residence.

Prosecutor General's Office asked the former president to appear on December 5 and 9 at 10:00 am Kyiv time to the chief of the investigation department of the Main Military Prosecutor's Office of the General Prosecutor's Office Leshchenko.

Yanukovych is summoned as a suspect to participate in the interrogation and perform other procedural actions in criminal proceedings.

Note that the General Prosecutor of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko declared that Yanukovych is suspected of treason on November 29 before his interview as a witness in the case of five former Berkut Special Forces officers.
