Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Newt Gingrich, who is a confidant of Donald Trump, said that US President-elect will cancel up to 60% -70% of decrees signed by Obama after the inauguration. It was reported by Washington Times.

“I think in the opening couple days, he’s going to repeal 60 to 70 percent of Obama’s legacy by simply vetoing out all of the various executive orders that Obama used because he couldn’t get anything through Congress,” Mr. Gingrich said.

Gingrich also expressed hope that with the help of "savvy lawyers" the new president will achieve cancellation or postponement of the entry into force even of those decrees of his predecessor, which are not subject to revision or revocation due to objective circumstances.
