US President-elect Donald Trump agreed to pay $25 million to settle lawsuits accusing his now-defunct Trump University of fraud, which did not provide promised knowledge in real estate sphere for the students, at the same time using non-accredited educational programs.

It is reported that students involved through aggressive marketing paid 35 thousand dollars for trainings, but have not received the promised knowledge.

In 2013, the State Prosecutor's Office had initiated the case on this occasion.

Attorney General of New York, Eric Schneiderman called the agreement for compensation a victory for 6000 victims swindled by fraudsters from the university. According to him, all of them will be compensated, Trump will pay $ 1 million of additional fine to the Department of Education in New York.
