US senators demanded investigation concerning communication of Trump's advisor with Russian Ambassador

Democratic senators Ed Markey and Chris Murphy demanded to conduct an investigation of the content of telephone conversations between adviser to US president Donald Trump on national safety Michael Flynn with Russian Ambassador in Washington, Sergei Kisliak. They were especially interested in whether or not the issue of sanctions was discussed.

This was reported by The Associated Press.

In the administration of Trump said that Flynn definitely could not discuss the isuue of sanctions. This is also denied by the Kremlin.

Earlier Washington Post, citing sources reported that Michael Flynn a month before the inauguration privately discussed with the Russian ambassador the lifting of anti-Russian sanctions.
