The UK’s former Prime Minister David Cameron could become the next NATO Secretary General – if the current head of the British government Theresa May offers his candidacy for this post. Daily Mail reported that on Thursday.

Jens Stoltenberg, the current NATO Secretary General, will leave the office in either 2018 or 2019.

The Great Britain, NATO’s strongest member country in Europe, aims to play even more profound part in the Alliance – now that the UK left the EU.
