Croatia supports EU-Ukraine visa-free regime, - PM

Croatian Prime Minister promised his assistance to Ukraine to make the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU enter into force as quickly as possible

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said that he supports the early adoption of the European Union decision on visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens, as well as the decision on the ratification of the Agreement on Association of Ukraine and the European Union. He stated this during a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.

"Croatia is working and helps in the process of visa-free travel for Ukrainian citizens. In my opinion, this decision, which should be made as soon as possible at the level of the European Union”, he said.

Croatian Prime Minister stressed that Ukraine has fulfilled all obligations put before it and promised their assistance to Ukraine in this issue.

"Also, I will help in every way to make the agreement on association between Ukraine and the EU come into force, despite the decision of the Dutch referendum”, added Plenkovic.
