Shevchenkivsky district court in Kyiv will today continue to look into the case of Ukraine’s Colonel Ivan Bezyazykov. Olena Gitlyanska, the press secretary of the SBU, Ukraine’s Security Service, said this on Wednesday morning. According to her, the court will today choose pre-trial restriction for the detained serviceman.

As 112.International reported, the Ukrainian officer was released from captivity of pro-Kremlin rebels in July this year. Earlier this month, Bezyazykov was detained by the SBU, Ukraine’s Security Service, and brought to trial under charges with collaboration with the militants. Yesterday, December 13, his lawyer reported the officer had health issues, asking for surgical treatment; however, medical examination proved there was nothing demanding surgical procedure.
