US presidential candidate of the Democrats, Hillary Clinton, who did not get the victory in the elections is going to support the initiative of "Green Party" to recount votes in the state of Wisconsin, as well as in other key states of the country. It was reported by CNN.

"In the campaign, Hillary Clinton claimed on Saturday that she will join the efforts for a recount in several key states, initiated by the presidential candidate of the Green Party Jill Stein, which has put millions of dollars to review the voting results in Wisconsin," the publication said.

At the same time, Clinton campaign lawyer Marc Elias said in social networks, that democrats’ own investigation did not disclose any evidence of external interference in the voting system.

The decision of Clinton campaign is not aimed to appeal against the election results, but to guarantee and confirm that everything was fair, according to the material.

In turn, US President-elect Donald Trump has called attempts to recount in the presidential election "fraud" and demanded to recognize the election results urgently, Reuters reports referring to the statement.
