Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine confirmed the appointment of Vadym Troyan as acting Chief of National Police of Ukraine. This was reported by the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

“Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine confirmed the appointment of Vadym Troyan as acting Chief of National Police of Ukraine,” message says.

Earlier, Khatia Dekaoidze resigned and claimed that she did not see Troyan as a future Head of Police in Ukraine.

Vadym Troyan held the post of the Deputy Chief of the National Police since March 6, 2016. He was the Head of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kyiv region since 2015, Head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine in the Kyiv region from 2014 to 2015, from September 2014 to October 2014 – the deputy regiment commander of "Azov" at the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine in the Kiev region.
